Laura joined Collas Crill as a trainee solicitor in September 2021.
Experience
Prior to moving to the private client team, Laura spent six months in a number of practice areas, where she developed her experience with:
- preparing legal documentation such as legal opinions and listings paperwork;
- facilitating property transactions, with a particular focus on working with lenders on buy-to-let transactions;
- overseeing transactions such as migrations of companies into and out of Guernsey, and advising clients throughout the process; and
- contributing to high value banking and property transactions.

Background
Laura studied at the University of Oxford, where she graduated with a 2:1 degree in Jurisprudence in 2020. Following this, she completed her LPC at the University of Law in 2021, achieving distinctions in all subjects.
She qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2023..
